I know that some Ovationistas enjoy Classical Guitar as much as I do.....

...I just purchased the 3-CD Set entitled "300 Years Of Guitar Masterpieces" (VoxBox3) played by Manuel Barrueco...

CD1: 60:08 Minutes

Bach: Suite No. 4 in E Major
Bach: Suite No. 2 in A Major
Albeniz: First Suite Espanola, Op. 47

CD2: 57:52 Minutes

Scarlatti: Sonatas
Cimarosa: Sonatas
Paganini: Sonata in A Major, Op. 3, No. 1
Giuliani: Variation sur Les Folies d'Espagne, Op. 45
Paganini: Sonata in E Minor, Op. 3, No. 6
Giuliani: Gran Sonata Eroica in A Major, Op. 150
Granados: Spanish Dances

CD3: 58:41 Minutes

Granados: Spanish Dances
Villa-Lobos: Etudes For Guitar
Guarnieri: Estudo No. 1
Chavez: 3 Pieces For Guitar
Villa-Lobos: Suite Populaire Bresilienne

... very nicely done! Highly recommended! :)

Excellent - now you need something actually recorded on a Baroque guitar

Try:-

Passacalles Y Obras De Guitarra
Played by William Waters.

Those old dudes knew quite a bunch of stuff about composing, playing and instrument making.

After reading about Pauly's 25th anniversary, I thought Tim was going to tell us this was his 300th anniversary!

Ya know, that's just the sorta thing that ends-up ripping the fabric of space-time leading to the inexorable swirling end of the universe in the cosmic equivalent of the toilet flush...

Bela is great, and check out Victor Wooten's version of Norwegian Wood . How many people could do this with a guitar, let alone a bass?
