While the really cool kids were galavanting in CT I put myself to work while waiting to hear what was going on!
I managed to mold another Wood Toned Mutt.
Here's the right way to apply Tung Oil to Koa. Very organic man!
Lighting was poor but I put some shots in a new folder called Limited Viper Mutt. I'll post more later.
Enjoy!

Al,
How many knobs for a KLAV12?
Just help me patent these with Darrin - they would go sooooo well on a natural VXT!
With a little finess they could match the shape of the paisley soundhole.
I've never liked the looks of the "Chicken head" knobs but these are really smooth to operate and you can feel the position in lieu of having to look.

Not yet...
Brain, I have seen way too many of the oversized black chicken-head dials on these Navy ships I work around. Talk about retro design!
That, and I will never own a "Dove Gray" guitar...

My Hero......but, "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery." Perhaps a purpleheart high-hat set for a 2-knobber?

Plagerism saves time.
You can use that anytime you want.
