Location: Lebanon, TN | Well as you know I couldn't come to the OFC tour due to daughter's Junior Prom. It went off splendidly well despite the after party at our house that had doors banging around the house until gone 4am
And just to show that even during Junior Prom preparation's Ovation get's in on the act check out this picture of my beautiful daughter chilling while waiting for her date to arrive with my 1996 Book Elite.

thanks for sharing photos of the memorable moments. obviously your daughter plays guitar, or did you just pose her with a D chord? ;)
i assume this daughter is the reason you bought the 1990 collectors. |

Location: Boise, Idaho | I'll bet it's a video camera to capture the magic moments. I was just thinking about one of my daughter's prom dates. I thought they forgot to hem the pants on the rental tux, but he was just wearing around his hips, with his boxers showing, like he wore his other pants. I don't get it. Good luck, Stuart. |

There's no better way of relaxing than having a quiet strum |

My dearest one can play very nicely. Her website is down so I can't point you there, but her entries for SongFight! show her growth over the past few years. These are all original songs written by her (or with me) in the weekly SongFight! format. The titles take some work and the recording quality is varied but get's better over time, but on the whole they are fun recordings.
Everything other than her voice is played by me and all on guitar/Mandolin too!(well apart form the drum programming!)
Highlights include:
Switch Hitter (poppy/rocky piece of nonsense)
Don\'t You (her getting her bluesy/jazziness out)
and as Raw Strength and Courage with dear old dad
Method of Delivery (my personal favourite bitter love song)
and Funeral Director (her "Hell have no fury like a woman" rock song...we argued like crazy during the recording so I could get her angry enough for the song...she is such a nice person!) |
