Jeff W. brought a special toy (not Schroeder, though he brought him, too). Tomorrow we might see how far it can throw Moody.

John, you gotta play it and give me a report! I have. Repeatedly. 12 fret, slothead, mid-depth bowl. Easily the most comfortable Ovation/Adamas I've ever played, with a solid tone across all strings.
Now I have to figure out how to include one in my future. |

some of you look like this morning's wake-up will be a little rough... make sure the guys at the factory fire up some large, loud, whining pieces of equipment and tooling first thing. :p
taking Shannon to her rehearsal, then to the hospital, then pick her up from rehearsal, then maybe Char gets released for the commencement, we'll know in an hour or two..
have a great time all!

Slipster - tanned and sporting a new look, go Daddy-O!
Weaser - You look way to serious but nice guitars!
TRBoy (and Mrs. TR) - Did you get there way early this time too?
Next year! The OFC YSBYW Tour! |

Wayne, that's one Kim Keller's specials. Think 'contact paper'...
Woody... I hope that doesn't stand for 'You Should Bring Your Woody!'.
I'll get more pictures at the workshops and factory today. I've had my waffles, yogurt and eggs, and I'm feeling the effects of only 4 hours sleep out of 48 awake.
A large group has left for the morning tours. Last I heard Jason was still asleep (he's gonna be pissed. Phil couldn't wake him up. |

The reference is more along the lines of I can't be there, and seeing what we're missing is painful.
Anyway, your ugly mug can't be any worse than mine.

I have the same trouble with some moderne classical music, where they piano is played with rotten grapefruit on the strings while a chainsaw chews the legs.....Maybe it would sound better with a Taylor?
But thanks ever so for the same day reports. This is almost like being embedded with the troups! Without the nasty morning-after of having Cliff passed out at the foot of your bed..... |

I know firsthand, after cringing at a threatened bashing, that the MOB that was sacrificed last year had an extensive radial crack in the neck which rendered it non repairarable. I sure that this year's "throw ins" were either terminal patients or volunteers as well.
PM me your parts list, I may need to clean up some. |

Probably the best distance we got from a guitar was achieved after I stuffed the body with chunks of 2x4 which brought the weight up to about 10-12 pounds. That one exploded on impact.
We also launched a 15 pound rock quite a ways a couple times.
Thanks, Jeff. It was a lot of fun! |

2080: 14 fret, NWT top, peg top, Nike swoosh, contour bowl, VIP, standard neck, sounds good.
Mine: 12 fret, textured (UTE) top, slothead, Adamas markers, medium bowl, Studio amp, 1 3/4 neck, sounds TONS better. |
