Didn't know they existed until I joined the OFC and now I want to know more.

Where did the name Breadwinner come from. Was it an official Ovation name or a nickname that stuck. I doubt there'd be many, if any, down here in Oz.

I thought I was the breadwinner at home but my wife reckons I'm better at eating it then making it. :D

My guess is that the name was chosen as a euphemism for the itinerant, "working" musician who earned his living playing guitar . . .

They wanted to call it BetWetter, but Glen's mom put her foot down. By then all the factory guys had already taken to calling it BW, so they came up with BreadWinner as a second choice. Dave
