I have just added a Martin D28 to my growing collection of Guitars. It joins the Ovation 1778-LX, Telecaster and Stratocaster.

I looked closely all over the D-28 to find a serial number, but I can't see one anywhere. There was no paperwork or instructions in the box of this brand new guitar. So I though there is bound to be a Martin web site like the OFC. No there seems to be nothing I can find, either in the UK or the States.

I am sure there is someone out there in the OFC knows where to look.

What moody said. It's stamped in the wood.

Piers, there is indeed a Martin club:

This is the Unofficial Martin Guitar Forum, the closest analogue to the OFC.....

Congrats on the new guitar ... she must be a real beauty. As for the UMGF ... well, no comment ...

Good luck
