Location: Las Vegas | Okay, back to pick a few brains here before I waste a ton on eBay... anybody know what model '70-'71 acoustics these are? Got one pic of each, 12-string, 6-string steel, and 6-string classical. And what would be the going rate for each, in good condition? And if anybody has any of these they'd like to find new homes for, let me know. I've got to complete the collection, and there's only the three acoustics left. I used to have an Ovation acoustic catalog but lost it years ago.

Location: Central Florida | The 12-string in the first two pics is a Glen Campbell model (1115-4), sans the GC signature truss rod cover. The classical, in the pic with Glen Campbell is probably an Artist Classic, which has been out of production since the early 70s ( don't recall the model #, might be 1123). Glen is playing his signature six string. As for prices, it's hard to say, but I'd guess somewhere in the $350-$500 range for each. Hope this helps. |

A 12 string identical to the one in the second picture (note the bridge) was just on eBay and didn't sell at an opening bid of $399. ANd it was in nice shape.
Anything new on the Project? The last bits we saw were great! |

Location: Phoenix AZ | Small correction, the 12 string model number is 1118. The classical is interesting. I agree with Jeff, Looks like '70 Artist classical or something, but it appears to have the scalloped tuners of the first generation classcials. Odd.

Location: Phoenix AZ | This is a '69 winged bridge balladeer 12, not the GC-12. The Partridge one is the GC. Factory can make a replica winged bridge and in theory you could invest in any cheap GC12 1118 and have the factory put a replica winged bridge on it. They might even be able to replicate the plethora of finish cracks ... |

I've got the Forever Family Forum up here, the store is done and in the final testing stages, and the flash front end is almost done. Hopefully everything will be up and running here by Halloween or thereabouts.

Location: Las Vegas | Thanks to everyone for all the help! I didn't want to overload the thread replying to everyone separately, but all the help from everyone was very welcome and appreciated!
Just a general ignorant question here about top finishes... do they darken over time? The ones on the show looked like a very bright "white" natural spruce finish... the ones on eBay look beautiful, but have a darker natural finish.

Screen Gems probably wouldn't have let DC take any off the set, although Ovation did give DC himself a few matching ones.
What would be the [most closely] corresponding classical to the 12 and the 6 string then?
