I had a great time at the Texas OFC. I have gotten a couple e-mails from Noel, Craig, Mike & Paul. Sounds like everyone wants to do it again.
Any ideas on location?
Any ideas on date? Weekends work best for me, but we can do a weeknight if I have enough time to rework the schedule.

Location: Waurika OK | Way to go Tom! A Saturday works for me. When I first suggested this to you, what I had in mind was meeting somewhere for lunch then jamming all afternoon.
Would June 4 work? I will be occupied the two Saturdays after that.
I can also do a weeknight. You are only a couple of hours away, so no problem.
Keller or Ft. Worth location will be great. |

Dallas Guitar Show
Unfortunately, this weekend, June 4, and July 2 are the only weekends that don't work for me.
As far as weeknights, I work mostly nights through June. However, I am off on May 27, and June 17. Not sure about July yet, but can try to get a specific date if we set something soon. |

Location: Fort Worth, Texas | Well, my house in Ft. Worth is available - I'd have to check on dates with the rest of the family. We've got a wedding to attend on the 4th, probably be in Kerrville the weekend of the 18th, etc....
We can host a handfull of folks (not the amount we had in Old Magnolia Town).
Otherwise I can check into the 6th St. Grill in Fort Worth for a Saturday afternoon. Kid On A Pony plays there about once a month and I know the owner fairly well, we'd probably have to clear out by 8:30 or so to make room for the Saturday night band. This is all speculative, I can talk to him today.....
Maybe Mike S. can make it again. :) |

It hasn't even been a month, and you're getting together without me... :p I guess it's OK since by then I'll have seen Matt Smith twice, Dale from KOaP is coming out, and then I have the Hooligan to look forward to. I'll still miss you all and cannot wait for the 2nd annual OFC Old Magnolia Town reunion.
Peace |

Paul, what general area of FTW do you live in?
Anywhere you guys in the area decide.
Lets just do it! |

We live in the Fairmount neighborhood, just south of downtown. If you guys want to do the 27th, let me know. I do need to check with my lovely wife Shannon (we have been totally booked with the end of the school year, birthday parties, etc.). I told her tonight we had this in the works... |

Here's something to study before hand... and bring with you to the "DFW Guitagather" (please feel free to dub the gathering as such)
Easy tunes to learn ...
we had been chatting on a different thread about similar topic. |

I was watching some of the "Live in Providence" CD and part of it's bonus items is two song from Austin City Limits: "Uninhabited Man" and "Persuasion". "Persuasion" is a GREAT song!!

| It's kinda hard to believe that The Moodys and Black Sabbath come from the same place. And Duran Duran, Spencer Davis, The Move, ELO, Stevie Winwood.
If the moodys are playing Texas I figure a good seat would be a bar stool in Ottowa. |

Location: Fort Worth, Texas | Postponed for another week. Sorry for the late notice, we've had a hectic start to the summer (read, my wife wants a unscheduled weekend!)
Next weekend is OK, either Friday or Saturday.
I started a new job this week, after 15 years at the previous job, etc., etc. Our summer should ease on in after this weekend.
Again sorry for the late notice. We WILL get together... |

So four of is from OFC and and a couple of others.
I don't have any new acquisitions since Old Magnolia Town, I know you do....
Just getting together to pick and grin will be fun!! |

Location: Waurika OK | Just got in from Texas. Had a great time at Paul and Shannon's last night. They treated us great! OFC members present, Paul, George, Tom (ttenn)and me, in addition, Trent,a guy Paul works with (and now a convert to O's)and Lisa, a friend of the Wagners.
George took pictures, hope he puts them up here. Paul's house has a porch across the front, we entertained the neighborhood until about 11:00 last night and no one called the cops, so it must not have been too bad.
I think George has agreed to host the next one at his place in Denton. |
