Location: Lafayette, Louisiana | A friend of mine just got a Yamaha acoustic guitar that has not strap button near the neck joint. Can anyone tell me where to put the strap button on a regular wood acoustic? Should it go on the side of the heel of the neck, or should it be at the back of the heel. And I told him to be careful and drill the hole straight to put the screw in. Any advice on the best place for a strap button? Thanks |

The elderly guitar making gentleman that we talked about (most likely your distant cousin as he is a Hebert) - bet he could do it in a flash. |

Location: Lafayette, Louisiana | Tony that is a good idea. He is a super guy, but being that it is not my guitar he might not do it. But being that he is an Hebert he just might. :D |
