Location: N W Ohio | How important are original cases. I guess the reason I'm asking is I have two guitars that have brown cases that are, well used. I also have two Ovations that are going to go to ebay that have real nice black newer cases. Should I keep the good cases or the original brown ones? |

but remember you don't play the cases |

Location: 6 String Ranch | From a vintage point of view, if it's a 30+ year old guitar in B+ or better condition an original case adds to the package. A newer guitar or a workhorse, it's not that important.
To illustrate, when I've bought my Nationals (70+ ytears old) the ones with an original case always cost a little more. But keep in mind aLeX's point above. |
