Location: Madison, Wisconsin | Found a crack in my previously perfect 1996 1769 Custom Legend. I thought the factory had fixed the finish crack proplem by '96. Starts at the bridge below the low E and extends at 8:00 for about 1-1/2". Real bummer :( |

Location: Vernon, CT | Send it back to the Ovation Factory for repairs. They do great work. If you are the original owner then it should be warrantied and fixed for free.

Location: Madison, Wisconsin | I'm not the original owner. I guess I'll wait and see if it grows. Damn Wisconsin winters! I had to leave it in the car Monday night at 5 below for an hour. I didn't open the case 'till last night but I guess the temp was too much for it. |

After seeing the crack, they seem to have migrated to the upper regions of my abdominal cavity. |

Location: Central Oregon | That's a shame :( Tony Calman has come up with a pretty effective fix for finish cracks though. |
