Hi folks....

" Sunburst 1981 Custom Ovation Balladeer Guitar Restoring Progress "

The Update, well after 74 hours of sanding and everything else thats involved I feel I am making progress.

The front of the topplate done only, "neck + sides need cleaned" as well as the soundboard, well also a finish coat or ten required.

I thought that with the gold machine heads on the way it would work great with the black front plate on the head, also bronze strings...

Indian Rosewood stain on the bridge..I have tried a little french polish for the ebony fretboard and it looks like its going to come up a treat...

I know its not perfect but I feel I am doing ok for a novice ;-O

Its very time consuming though....

More pictures of the progress in the Members Area.

Christmas wishes from Scotland

Stephan...
