Location: Upper Left USA		I believe that is true except for certain "Panelmeister" Collectors and "Specialty wood" units.

The 5 piece neck is special to the USA made units though.

Location: Central Oregon		My 2002 Collectors has a 5 piece neck & an African Cherry laminated top. Pretty SOB too.
