Location: Anchorage, Alaska | My "O" has a notch filter but I don't know the first thing about them. Actualy I do know that they are to filter out feedback but that's all! How do you use these? The owners manual only says it's for feedback reduction but nothing on how to use it. |

Location: Scotland | Try standing too close to you amp or PA which will enable you to find your guitars most prominent feedback frequency. Switch on the notch and start with the knob full counter-clockwise. Turn it slowly through it's entire range while the guitar is feeding back. At some point you'll hear the feedback reduce or dissappear completely. It's pretty good, but don't expect miracles from a single notch filter. |

Location: Anchorage, Alaska | Thanks for the information but... When I stand close to my amp should I strum the guitar to hear the feedback or will I get some feedback just being close to the amp? I know this is probibly way basic stuff for most, but thanks for helping this "newbie" once again. |

Location: Scotland | I'd try to get it feeding back while it's being played. If it's feeding back without being played the notch will probably struggle to deal with it. You'll also find that certain notes or chords will promote feedback before others. |
