Hello all,

I have searched all over the net for pickups for the Deacon with no luck. I am not surprised by that either.

I recently purchased a Deacon. The pickup by the bridge is not the original pickup and I would like to put the original back on so that the Deacon is a Deacon once again.

Would anybody have any idea where to go to find one of these?

If I can't find one of these pickups what would be the best replacement for the deacon and should I replace both pickups?

I love this guitar , but it feels like a neutered dog. I am just kidding it still plays good but I would love to hear it with both of the original pickups.

Thanks to anyone who has a thought on this topic,

Duke

There are two different types of pickups used on the Deacon/Breadwinner, which type do you need? The big single coil or the small humbucker?

I am not quite sure. It is the pickup shown in this picture.

You could always try the factory and see if there are any left there?
