Way back when I first joined here and started asking all sorts of questions about the Partridge Ovation gear, I never though we'd finally get to this point, but we have.

I promised once I got everything up on the web, I'd post urls for pictures and song clips because of all the tremendous people on here that helped make everything possible and a reality, especially Tony Calman who graciously gave up Mr. Golf's guitar in this pic, and BruDev that helped with the amp head information so we could build these amps! Not to mention Miles that provided a lot of impossible to find parts and bass necks!

Thanks guys, and thanks to anyone I've inadvertedly overlooked (I've been up three days straight getting out promo packages to lawyers and other music biz folk.) Eventually I will get around to taking pics of the entire collection to post in the users section, but that will be awhile, because I still have some work to do on the Breadwinners. The amps weren't entirely completed when this picture was taken, a few more details like logos on the heads and the metal trim around the faceplates and edging on the speaker cabinets, but that will be done soon.

Song clips are here:

Picture is here:

All that work and my big butt is hiding the Typhoon nutmeg bass!!!

I hope you find it all fun or at least interesting, because you guys had a LOT to do with it, and I couldn't have pulled it off the way I wanted to without all your help.

Thanks!!!

Les

Cool ... but MacArthur Park is missing from the song list??? :D

Can't wait to see pics posted in the Gallery. Don't delay!

BTW ... what the end point of this project? A Vegas show? A sitcom pilot?

That's on the NEXT CD, re-recorded with all real instruments! LOL

End goal... the usual... major label record deal... national tours of major cities... embarassing lip synching disaster on SNL... hoedown dance into oblivion....

I'm pleased you have reached your (initial?) goal. I will be looking for our collective contributions.

Thanks!! As soon as I get the video we shot edited, I'll be able to move some stuff into storage and open up the garage once again to get working on the rest of the gear, so we're looking at maybe by the new year, hopefully for pics of the entire collection.

THANKS SO MUCH GUYS!!

Thanks!

Yes, absolutely... check out "Is One Without You" and "Ain't Love Easy"... that's the Ovation classical guitar you sold me on there!!!

The intro to "Ain't Love Easy" (which unfortunately isn't in the clip) is that ovation SOLO'ED with Shirley's voice!
