I'm up to four Ovations, including one Maple topped CS257. I just can't get that Ovation sound out of my head. |

Location: Sugar Land Texas | Wow..what a friendly forum! I was surprised to see replies so quickly! I was just strumming on my CS257 and loving the sounds coming out of it! I had been shopping around for an acoustic for quite a while and finally decided to go for this guitar mainly because I liked the way it sounded..especially plugged in and because it's a beautiful guitar! The finish is Ruby Redburst and it just caught my eye when I first saw it!! I visited Ovation's site the other day and was really surprised to see how many artists use Ovation guitars..some of the more notable ones..Al Dimeola, Adrian Legg and Steve Lukather..pretty impressive! |

Location: Minden, Nebraska | Ditto on welcome to the Club. You will find a preference for the USA models here, but you will also find that the Celebrities are appreciated and indeed were what drew some of us to Ovations for the first time. That was true for me, though I quickly bought a Legend .... many, many guitars ago.
That Legend is now a Guitar Craft guitar in Greece, and ditto for its sibling I got later which is now in South America. Both were bought by Guitar Craft instructors. A room full of black Ovation Legends is pretty cool.
Side note.... back to the welcome! |
