When I first received my Legend LX, the wiring harness had come loose in the middle of a gig which caused the pre amp to go out. Al was nice enough to send me a new harness, but I didn't install it because I had secured the wires to the bowl with a piece of electrical tape which had worked ever since. I was practicing the other day and all of the sudden, the pre-amp goes out again. I found that a tap on the saddle made it go in and out. I checked the wires and nothing had moved since I taped them down. I decided to install the new wiring harness properly and all seems well again. The problem is, I have a gig Friday and really want to use the LX as it is my favorite guitar now, but I'm not confident about using it without a backup.

Has anyone else had these kind of problems? The harness on my Legend 12 has also come loose, but I haven't had any problems with it yet. I think that this is just a design flaw, but it is quite annoying. As anyone who plays out knows, you have to have confidence in your equipment in order to perform well. I'm probably going to have to bring an extra guitar with me Friday just in case, which is a pain since I already bring a 6 and 12 string.
