Well, Friends, some of my critters are leaving the nest. Dillinger, Phoenix, Bastard, & Reso are looking for new homes. I am ready to set them free. I hope there's some folks out there willing to take them in. I'm not letting them go cheap- it would hurt their feelings. I think they're valued appropriately, though. They're listed under my "handle", Seesquare, at Ebay, in case anyone's curious.

Maybe I shouldn't have made them wait a whole week, but I figure they need exposure, and I have time to answer the myriad questions I'm sure will arise.

Well, here they are. The last listing is another of my experiments that was educational, at least.

Your not grieving very hard, are you?

That was sarcasm by the way. I hope they all find good homes. Good, wealthy homes!

Thanks, Mike- that would be fortuitous, wouldn't it? Simple fact is- they need to leave, and hopefully, be appreciated. I'm all too familiar with termination, departure, and closure, so parting with these critters isn't all that bad. I'm also trying to cultivate new minions to our association. Not everyone can fork over a thousand bucks for the new stuff from New Hartford, even though they're worth it.

SeeSquare - you're a strong individual - I only wish I had the strenght to let go some of my instruments... They bring such warmth and comfort and they never talk back - or try to take the remote.... :D

Then again, I was ecstatic to sell that hard playing Celebrity 12 string I had for enough to recoup the money I was in it. It was enough to pay for almost half of the new 1858 Elite I replaced it with, so you can imagine how far I was buried in it. I got twice what I was expecting.

Part of the secret is that once they're gone, more take their place! It happens automatically, and my wife almost believes that.

I have been on catch and release. And some days that really hurts.

Update- The Phoenix is going to New York, and The Bastard is headed for Hurricane Alley (Florida). Relisted Dillinger & Reso- may have set the reserve too high. I'm watching that injured Country Artist auction, though. Bill, you're right- they spontaneously regenerate- guess I'm helpless.
BTW, that Ersatz Strat actually got some action! There's even a guy in the UK interested in it.

Eventual outcome- 4 sold. Dillinger is staying. I'm kinda glad about that, anyway. Out of the bunch, he would have been the hardest to part with. Rather curious which sold, and for what price. So, I have more space, again. I think it's time to get picky over any new additions, for awhile. This bunch will do me fine. Gotta work on my Bug, and actually have to practice a little more- what a novel concept.

There's at least room for four more along the bottom now! Searching is good. Getting is great!
