You may be able to get a "Custom" LX in a year or two. The Legend with the inlay and gorgeous handwork is aged and waiting for you now. It looks to be a good value as well. I am a sucker for the abalone and that one looks good. If you get the black LX - which is very nice - you will soon become aware of how much spit, dead skin, hair and greasy finger prints your body exudes.

Just keep flipping until the result you want comes up? Huh. I *thought* that was you I saw in Vegas last week, Bill! :) (Just kidding, I didn't see W2 in Vegas...although I did see lots of people that followed his approach

I almost said something to the effect that black guitars really look great when they're clean but they are difficult to keep that way. You managed to say it much more disgustingly. Thank you. /\/\/

Only looked at one photo (photo of OP-24, usually found if the screws are corroded, etc., something else may be "wrong" about the guitar.) Personally, if both are in very good condition, I would go with the Custom Legend.

Waiting for the Custom Elite LX 12 string in natural. Probably with the OP 60 Pre-amp. Get the Custom Legend today, and a 1778LX next month.

I was leaning that way but am 99% short in experience so thought I would put it to those who have "been there, done that" so to speak... Again... Many thanks... Will let you know how it goes... :D
