Location: New Mexico | For people like myself who are just beginning but also looking to buy I think maybe a 10 point question list would be helpful. What I mean is from all the experience on this forum maybe someone could put together a generic list of questions you would ask a seller about a used guitar. I found myself lost in knowing what to ask a seller about a six string Custom Legend earlier. In fact it was because of this forum and the responses I received that possibly saved me from buy what certainly looked to be a very nice guitar. I emailed the seller and did not want to provide the information that I asked for. From looking at his feedback I could not see where he had purchased or sold anything related to any instrument so he may have been very direct in his reluctance and had nothing to do with damage etc. I'm not sure but he did not receive any bids so I opted for safe and not sorry. I know I would like to be in a better position to ask questions.

(By the way, yes I do have a new Q598G 12 string Adamas... It was a gift that I had little input on purchasing. (Long Story but terrific guitar) :p :p |
