I am trying to use my chorus and overdrive pedals to get some chunk from my acoustic guitar on a couple of Rock type P&W songs we have been doing.
Problem is, all my acoustics distort too abruptly except my Applause. It distorts kind of nice and more gradually.
This would be great except that my Applause has a pickup, but no preamp. I need more gain to get the volume I want without over distorting.
Does anyone have any experience with external preamp boxes that work well with Ovation (Applause) guitars.
If I can't find a good preamp, I might need to buy that Elite T I have been gassing over, and that would just be a shame, wouldn't it. |
