This is the most traffic I think I've ever seen on a Saturday. Is is raining on the East Coast or something?

It's been *&^&*^ raining all *&&^&^% day. It's play guitar for 1/2 and hour, go on the computer and see what Nils has stirred up this time. Play guitar some more, go check the OFC. Good thing this house is at the top of this hill, don't need an ark.

I've been doing the folowing:

Clean the new Guitar Roo... er, Study

Play guitar

Check the PC (eBay/OFC)

Shop for furniture for ... the Study

Play guitar.

Return mail and cause trouble/ebay/OFC

repeat

No rain in Mid-Michigan today, but it was only 46 degrees when I got up this morning. My day was:

Play Ovation

Check OFC

Think about OFC while playing 'The Wind Cries Mary' really, really loud on the Stratocopy

Check OFC

Play Ovation

Reply on OFC

Play Ovation

Eat Lunch

Check OFC

Send emails to non-paying buyers from eBay auctions who don't seem to want to reply at all, or care when their item ships, I guess

Play with youngest son, think about packing for trip

Check OFC

Play geetars with youngest son (who doesn't play, just twists knobs on the amps, which is simultaneously entertaining and...painful)

Check OFC

Check OFC

Drive over to folks house for dinner, spend almost two hours giving MST3K treatment to HSC and QVC with brother-in-law and pops.

Pack for 7a flight to Vegas

Check OFC
I think that covers it...now I'm going to play my Ovation. :)

Wow you guys have it really good

wake up
think about getting up off the futon and taking my morning meds
psyche myself up to do that and toast a bagel for breakfast.
hobble over to the computer
read the hfc
laugh a lot
hobble back to the futon to watch tv
hobble into the kitchen to eat lunch
horrible thunderstorm takes out the electric for over an hour.
try to sleep but decide to read a book on effects pedals
electric comes back on.
check ofc again
laugh a lot
hobble back to the tv
watch mtv cribs for about 3 hours
hobble into the kitchen to eat dinner
back to the computer to check e mail and ofc
back to the tv
back to the computer
now time to do the evening meds
try to convince myself that I can fall asleep

Crappy weather here too. I was supposed to ride to Portland today with some other guys to celebrate a bike clubs birthday (32nd?). Nobody wanted to ride over the mountain in the rain & 38 degree air, including me. Twenty years ago I would have, but not any more. The two main highlights of the party are the club sponsored no-rules (almost) demo-derby held on some private property in Washington every year. Usually 12-15 cars from the various clubs & chapters. They crash 'em 'till only one of 'em will go. Passengers & beer drinking in the cars is not only allowed but encouraged. No women in the cars though, one of the few rules. If the guys get hurt it's no big deal but nobody wants to have the ladies get hurt. An occasional broken rib or arm is the worst I've ever seen happen. Probably no fires in this weather....
The other highlight is riding from the clubhouse to the party area with a hundred plus choppers in a tight pack side by side going 80 miles an hour down the freeway. YAHOO!
Got a call from some people that were there earlier. Lots of mud, lots of rain but still lots of fun.
Maybe that's why I'm a little testy today, I hate missing that party.

Weather's erratic. Not much rain, but a lotta wind earlier (no, I didn't have chili for lunch!). Attempted to play some "social" tennis this AM- damn near jeopardizes my premeditation defense- I just can't do the "hit-and-giggle" thing. Helped a friend move some big stuff from one apartment to another. The clutter & light stuff is their problem. Monitored my auctions- the 1121's got the only action so far. Lining up packing materials. Popular move with She-Who-Must-Be-Obeyed. Planning for our Apple Valley Volkswagen Club "Volkfest" tomorrow- should be a real hoot! Gotta notion Ol' Mutha Nature's gonna kick our butts real hard, though. Been picking on the 1114 Folklore- haven't decided whether it needs a pickup yet. Real fun to play, though. Great exercise for the fingers. Never enough time on the weekends to get caught up.
Glad to hear you're somewhat ambulatory, Al. Hang in there, Ol' Boy.
Hey, Mike- bet you're glad you ain't @ FarmAid now!
