No wonder they quit selling them, that thing is really ugly. Looks like Partridge Family era.

ANd what's wrong with the Partridge Family Era?

You ever seen Keith Partridge and Cliff side-by-side?

For the Era - groovy and freaky at the same time. there's just no room for a strap with a buckle on it in my Study. Risk mitigation.

The auction ends tomorrow night on this and it looks like maybe I'll not find anyone who likes it any more than I do so I'll probably just keep it!

I don't understand. You've got three bids on it.

It is never over until the time is up and the Fat Lady sings!

Watch closely and put in your maximum bid about five minutes to go.

I am not sure how much time is left but this would sell better if there is an ovation symbol on it and you could show it in a photo? strap is not one I would want to wear but it would look nice hanging on the wall with the Ovations if the symbol was displayed? Just a thought

Good Luck it has some good bids on it now.

It would look lovely next to an Ovation sign or NeOvation light!

"...would sell better if there is an ovation symbol on it... "

Randy, it doesn't have "Ovation" on it but it has the motiff of the Ovation round hole guitar along it's length...I had a white leather one for over twenty years before I noticed the design on the strap was like the soundhole ring.
Smart...

Is the motif shown in the photo's ? I figured there was something on the guitar strap but I did not see anything but the funky pattern in the shots? A photo of this would draw a few more Ovation collectors I'll bet?

I am having mine made now although they will not be official Ovation straps they will be what I use on mine.

Randy, if you look carefully at the pattern on the strap you will see that it is the same leaf pattern that is on the sound hole surround of most of the round hole "O"s for 1968 to fairly recently...I don't feel so bad now!
