Location: NJ | Somewhere out there there's a bunch of pictures of my banners in the background of all those naked people getting arrested yesterday . . .
It was a friggin' riot!
These people just stopped in the middle of the crosswalk on 8th Ave in front of the Garden and just yanked all their skivvies off. . . .
Everything just STOPPED!!!
(I saw it from a 10th floor window of the Garden . . . alas, no camera)
Took the cops about 15 minutes to get 'em rounded up and hauled away . . .
If anybody comes across any decent shots anywhere, please e-mail 'em to me.

Location: NJ | No. Not really. (but then again, I really didn't "want" any of it).
It pisses me off a little that those banners are probably now on their way to a landfill on Staten Island (to join the WorldTradeCenter remains). I had asked about possibly saving ONE of 'em (I could've cut the logo off the bottom and saved the graphic), but was told by the "powers that be" that the labor costs incurred would've been too much. Even though they were printed on a lightweight "scrim" material, at 35' x 100' they probably weigh-in at close to 400 lbs. each.
Oh well.
Politics and Idealism never seem to go together anyway . . . .
So be it. |

I ask each of you, would you like to have seen a picture of YOUR mother showing her a-- for the world to see when you were setting at home hoping for some kind of dinner, even if it was macaroni and cheese.
