Does Al DiMiola's sig. add much to the value of an unused Ovation Pinnacle?

Just wondering what the signature adds or for that matter what is a minty Pinnacle worth?

Al Dimeola's signature might add some value for a fan, but signatures usually don't add value.

The value of a Pinnacle depends somewhat on whether it is an early 90's Japanese made guitar or a recent Korean model. The latter are generally pretty cheap. The MIJ guitars up until a couple of years ago sold for similar prices to USA Balladeers. Of late they have gone quite cheaply, making them -- in my opinion -- a comparative bargain. They are well made guitars and the torch-top models are attractive.

But having a C W Kaman on your label can make a world of difference!

Where do I send my Elite to get the O-fficial K-man seal of approval? Oh, and one of those nifty letters...I'd pay, oh, something for one of those. :)

Yes that is true, I've heard that my signature can reduce the value by up to 50%, sometimes even more!

Perhaps that explains all the missing labels and desecrated COA's over the years...

So Bill, how did you get rid of those old sigature boots? Were they continuously rebuilt or did they end up as chew toys for Morris? :D
