Location: Ottawa, Ontario, Canada | An old friend of mine who's been teaching English in the Orient for the last few years (first in Korea, now in Japan) has teamed up with a couple of other fellows to form a blues trio called Blue Avenue. They recently put together their first CD. Blue Avenue will be playing a gig in Tokyo early in September.
The website is www.blue-avenue.com (you need the hyphen between "blue" and "avenue" or you end up at some site for cosmetics). As you'll see from the pictures, Jim plays an Ovation; I don't know what model it is. My friend is Joel Shawn (real name is Joel Skuce, but apparently the Japanese have some trouble saying his surname). |
