Location: Texas | Hi all, just wanted to introduce myself. I love Ovations and have owned one since about 1981. I had stopped playing for about 10 years due to intense school, building a house, getting married, new little girl, you get the idea. Anyway, I started playing again about six months ago and realized how much I missed it (and forgot). So that's my story in a nut shell. I look forward to talking to everyone and sharing my stuff as well as learning from others. |

Your story is quite common. I learned to play in 1970, gave up during college, tried again for a while after college, gave up again, and took it up again last year.

Location: Las Cruces, NM | Welcome from your neighbor, New Mexico, we generally try to keep Texans either spending money or incarcerated for vagrancy. Carrying an Ovation should make you acceptable if you come to visit, as long as you don't go into a restaurant and shout "Doesn't anybody here speak American so's I can get a hamburger?" this usually will lead to the line in the song "I heard Jose say, You're in trouble plenty."
PS it is hard to find a gringo talker in the best joints.
