| im looking for a nylon string guitar. can anyone tell me more about this guitar? http://www.ovationguitars.com/?fa=detail&mid=47#
im looking for one in the $500 range, new. the CC059 seems to fit my budget. it doesnt have to be an O. im just looking for a good sounding one in that range. BTW, im geting it soon.

Location: Cherry Hill, NJ | As a proud owner of the 1613 Nylon Classical, I would recomend the 1624 on e-bay, from the previous reply. A deep bowl nylon string Ovation beats the shallow cutaway hands down. You might just get it for a great price. |

Only played the 1624 and 1763 (have both.)
Both nylon but different instruments...1763 is wider (2") at the nut, AAA cedar, deep bowl, higher cost. This is my favorite of the two.
However, Serge (Country artist)told me that he took his CA and 1763 in for a recording session...they used the CA. ? Spruce v. cedar, depth of bowl ?
If you can't play both before buying, can't go wrong with the CA, especially for the prices on eBay. Seen guys get the 1763 and go to the CA as they like the smaller neck and playing position due to the shallow bowl. |

Location: SoCal | Sam, MSB has a nice picture on the gallery...top looks a lot less "burled" than the picture, beautiful cedar, very warm.

| Thanks alot guys...but I went with an electric Ibanez instead. This is gonna be my first electric guitar, for only 350. I'm saving up to get a higher end nylon O. I've got my eye on the 6773 O. |
