Location: PA | I came across an Ovation guitar the Model: 1111-1 and there is a tag inside that says: Ovation 124613. It has no pick up inside (from the factory). On the Ovation plate inside it gives the model and it looks like someone scratched 1492 or 1412 on it.
Anyone have an idea how old this guitar is?
Any info someone would like to share?

Location: PA | Sorry, I would like to add that I am new to this site and guitars in general. Also I would like to add that this guitar looks brand one like someone just took it out of the box. The hard case is marked a little but nothing major. |

Location: Canton (Detroit), MI | From the "Reference" section, the serial number indictes it was built in late 1978. It is a dark sunburst Balladeer from the model number. Having no pickup is quite correct for a 1111.
