Location: Cherry Hill, NJ | I went out to Medley Music in Bryn Mawr, to check out the Ovation night promo. Rick Hall from Ovation, had a few Vintage models and New LX's, and a couple of other great sounding models. The store was dead. I was there for the first time and, although it is a good size store with quite an inventory, I think the CG's and Sam Ashes, impact the locally owned stores with a Walmart effect. Very few people for a Wed night. A few new things from Rick Hall: Yes, Deep Bowl LX wil be out next year, look for a Deep Bowl CL, LX. All the Super shallow models will be imports (Celebs). The next OFC tour may be moved to June, so the jam session couuld take place outside (under a tent).

I LOVE the direction I'm hearing, too.....the only bad thing to me about all the shallow bowls going to Celebrities is that I think the shallow-bowl Legend 12-string has value. It doesn't lose all that much as a shallow-bowl IMHO.
