The top is black with gold sparkle and on the back of the headstock it say SN 10485. Anybody can furnish me with information about the guitar. Especially, if it's a collectible item. It have been 'hanging' for about 6 yrs in the music shop. Any info is highly appreciated. :)

US$1400 is a lot of money in 'ANY' country especially for a guitar. But fortunately, I've been very blessed. I've in my collection 4 martin (J-16Custom, D-42, D-45CFM, OM-45GE), 2 taylors (814ce, NS72ce), an Almansa and a Jose Ramirez with an Olson on order. I don't mean to brag but that's just to give you an idea that there are local indonesians who just "LOVE GUITARS" ;) Thanks guy ......

Keep in mind that Ovations came to be in the 60'3 and 70's and are very high quality in the high end US guitars of which the Adamas are considered of the best, both because they are of a revolutionary design, and because the design works. The Ovations were the first to provide an electric sound on an acoustic that worked well, making them a recording studio fixture. Hang around here a while and do some searching on "Adamas" and I think you will be impressed. I would suggest you nail that guitar right away, and you will probably find yourself playing it frequently. Welcome to the board, this is the home of the other US designed and made guitars that have given those in your collection a good run for the money. Bailey

The Adamas is a great guitar, and the price is more than right.
