Location: Lafayette, Louisiana | Hello everyone. Does anyone know if Ovation made the old brown hardshell cases, or did someone else make them for Ovation. Also before hardshell cases, what were the cases made of that the early Ovation acoustics came in? ....Paul Hebert |

Location: Phoenix AZ | Before the brown cases, didn't the very early guitars come with a black wood/hardshell case? I have two of these which look to me like the inside is made specifically for the roundbacks. Dave |

Ah yes, the famous Archcraft (= cardboard). I went walking with one once in the rain. By the time I got home all that was left was the handle. |
