Location: NJ | I don't know how some of you will feel about this but this website has downloadable versions of the Realbook vol 1 2 and 3 and the Jazz standards book.
They are in pdf format and I downloaded them and they are real cool even if you don't play the stuff you should check out the arrangements. I already burned the files on cd for my keyboard player.

Location: Scotland | Paul, It's a play on words. A "Fake book" is a book of chord changes, usually jazz standards, but there are fake books for pretty much anything, allowing a player to fake a tune. |

I thought all you had to do to play jazz was put the treble on 0 and the bass on 10 and noodle away. |
