I read that and my heart sank....All I can say is that I have it insured so if it is out laying in the snow somplace or something on the train smashed it we are ok

Well, it seems to have made it to Minneapolis. Next stop is my house. I'm ASSUMING it'll be fine. But, geez, talk about getting your attention.

Y'know it very well could be that your guitar wasn't on THAT particular train. It could well be that a derailed train disrupted the service of the line that your guitar's train needed to use. All of our tradeshow carpet gets shipped to us from our Corporate Distribution Center in Dallas via rail. A lot of times a major rail "incident" can/will have a "ripple" effect on other lines.
