Location: Columbus, Ohio | My Celebrity has the OP11. Can I just pop it out and put in the OP24? If so how much do they cost? Thanks.. |

Location: Scotland | All the new pre's except the OP50 which uses a balanced & unbalanced out are supposed to be interchangeable. Some of the entry-level preamps are passive, so they would need a differnt output jack. |

Location: Columbus, Ohio | So, what you are saying is that I can push the little release button, take out the little OP11, and just snap in the OP 24 and thats all? Sounds too good to be true. Is this correct? |

Location: Scotland | Some of the entry-level guitars have passive preamps (no battery) It would appear that all others are interchangeable except the Op50, which is the only pre which uses an XLR and a jack output. The OP24 is an older model & is a different shape to the current preamps |
