I think this would make a nice companion for my 1881 - don't you think?

Adamas 1885 12-string

Too many guitars, too little money... :(

Pure bliss  The comments are true, fastest 12 string action I've played.
That price is a steal too, I payed $1899 new.

Way too many good O's on the bay right now - must be getting close to Christmas!

Good luck, Tony, and thank you for saving me from trouble - this one has my name written all over it, I'm afraid.

Should you win and decide not to keep it, however, I'm sure Arnaud and I would fight each other over this one... :D

Notice...the Adoption Agency will pass on this. We were going to help Dan but he is being assisted on a special order by Al.

From everything (pics & description by seller), this is a great guitar and worth over $1,000. Very hard to find a textured top with a shallow bowl...check it out, only a couple of hours left!!

Tony's drive here was in response to Dan's post looking for a shallow bowl, cutaway, Adamas-12. When I saw this auction go up, I had my finger on the $1100 BIN while we were trying to reach Dan. Heck, on impulse, I even want it!

As nice as it is, this 1885 would still be a trade off on Dan's needs. Al is going to work with Dan on a special order Adamas that will perfectly fit his current performing needs. :D Thank you Al! :D

Now back to this 1885. From what I understand, Dan has been in contact with the seller who is a really great guy. He is selling the guitar for health reasons. This 1885 has been back to the Mothership... we all know how perfect they are when they are returned to us. We see a lot of shallow-bowl-bashing on the Board, but I own quite a few. The 1885 12-string plays great and you'd be suprised how balanced it sounds acousticlly. Plugged in, it sounds just as great as any other Adamas plugged in.

If you are sitting on the fence watching this one and drooling, you have a couple hours to sober up and grab this guitar for cheap!

Tell me about impulse - I wish I had known sooner that you guys weren't going for it - I'd have pulled the trigger for sure!

Oh, well, we keep looking. Out of curiosity, was it at least an OFC brother or sister that snagged this baby?
