Nice pics, Arnaud. I have a '95 of the 1881-2, and absolutely love mine. How is that EA-63 for sound? Does it play like a regular classical?

Andrew,
Yes 1881 are very nice guitars. i think the only difference between yours and mine is the battery access (rear hole cover for mine).
The Viper EA63 has great sound: unplugged is perfect to play in the evening without disturbing the rest of the family, although i hear what i play and have a sensitive action of the chambered body which vibrates. When it is plugged, it's really regular nylon classical sound, very powerful in all frequencies range. I love it !
If you are curious, you can go to the private section of Paulmac/Jerome website http://www.ovationtribute.com/forum and go to the "open stage" after you join the forum. Many members put mp3 files here. You can hear an "Andante" (Carulli) that i play with the EA63.
;)

I have noticed that while the British will offer their opinions the French offer pictures of extraordinary instruments!

The Aussie's offer their full appreciation that anything even gets shipped their way!

I am still trying to figure out the Canadians

They're just Americans with a better liquor capacity!

Or, imagine the kid who left home slamming the door and stealing dads car on the way vs. the one who just packed his bags, left, and kept in touch with the family...

Hi again, Arnaud.

You know, I just love France. The country, the lifestyle, the people.

I lived in England for 13 years and my wife and I spent a lot of time across 'La Manche' and we would've moved there instead of Australia if we could've found employment.

If I'd known that Ovations were so popular, I may have tried harder to find some work.

I hope to return one day. Maybe via the States so I can pick up a few cheap Ovations. (Cheap compared to what we pay for them down here)

Bonne Journee, mon ami.
