So can I. Here's my son playing (bass, in the light shirt) last friday night at the Masquerade in Atlanta with his band "Seven Story Fall". All 16 year olds from Stockbridge High.

Not a recording star, not an Ovation, but a proud moment.

BTW, searching the web, there may be other bands named Seven Story Fall. Nothing new under the sun, I guess.

congrats.
I jammed with my nephew and his high school buddies last week at his birthday party. When he called me up and asked me to play my response was "are you sure you want an old geezer with a guitar to play with you?"
he responded with " I think of it more like having the master play with the students"
made me feel great.

Captain, you've got every right to be proud of your son and his band. What's his first name by the way?

The Masquerade is a fairly large venue, and has been very popular in the Atlanta area for over ten years. When Kaki was in high school, I'm pretty sure she used her fake ID to get into the 21+ shows whenever she could!

That's a nice rear stage photo--did you take it?

Best--

Dave K.

Hey Captain, bring him to the S.E. Gathering,
We'll get him straightened out on his gear and he can teach us how to play ;)

His name is Adam. I've already talked to him about the SE gathering and the Factory Tour. He appreciates the O pretty well. I came in from cutting grass today and found him jamming on the Deacon (had it in Drop D). Thanks, guys. Here's another...

He's playing his American series Fender Jazz that we bought at GC. We went in on a Labor Day sale and they had it mispriced at $499 (regular discount price was $1000). Snagged it.
