Location: U.S | Hopefully someone can help me. According to Ovation's site my guitar was built in 1984 and is a Balladeer. The only problem I have is that it looks like an Elite, it has a shallow body and is a semi accoustic that was purchased at Guitar center in 1995. It has a bookmatched curly/birdseye maple front with a sunburst finish. Here is a serial number that I have found looking through on of the holes in the leafs on the guitar. Serial number 332640.

Serial numbers for the celebs were never cataloged for date.
Ebony fretboard, nice burst finish.

Location: U.S | I have always loved playing it. It is just as of the past few years I haven't really touched my guitars. So I am debating if I should keep them or let them go to somone who will enjoy them. Thank you for your help. |
