Just got the 1688 Adamas 12-string that I bought from C.Choate. What a very nice instrument. Custom color combination (-7 fade to light blue), OP-Pro XLR, and extra gold flakes on the bowl. Sounds as good as it looks. Thanks Chris. Dave

Ya know, Dave, one guy just doesn't deserve as many nice guitars as you have or have had.

You'd better send me your next nicest 12 string, just to restore the balance of nature.

It's taken a long time, but I think I'm starting to get used to "blue burst" guitars. In fact, I think I might like them. I'm not quite sure yet.

Yeah Cliff, they might LOOK wrong but as you know if they curve "in" as on some chi-chi models the epaulets restrict vibration too much right in the heart of the top. That's why "outies" always sound better than "innies".

Hey Tuppy, when you yank out all the electronics to "purify" your new baby, remember that I've got a 1719 with a failing OP-24 that would love for me to get her a new set of electronics ... just in case you were thinking about a "cleansing" again ... :D
