I tried back in June - I paid for a 2 year international subscription but NOTHING has arrived. I've emailed them and called long distance several times and left messages.
NO ONE HAS REPLIED.
I'm starting to think they have gone out of business or it's a scam.
Fingerstyle magazine
Just wondering if anyone knows anything about them, they seem to be based in NY. Ta. |

Location: Brighty in Blighty | FINALLY!!! They answered the frigging phone.
They said they sent me a mag but it's obviously got lost (stolen) in the mail.
They are sending another.
ARGH! Ho hum... twiddles thumbs...

Lost interest in it & never sought-it-out or picked-it-up again. That was quite a while ago . . . |

There has been some chatter about them for the last few months over on the Acoustic Guitar Mag forum. Apparently they are trying to get things going again. Hard to say if they make it or not.
If you paid by credit card, I'd file a dispute. |

Location: Scotland | I've only ever picked up freebies from NAMM. It's OK, but I wouldn't get upset about missing an issue. Acoustic Guitar is far superior. Now Fretboard Journal.... there's a great mag. Moody gave me a coupla copies last time I was over, and now I subscribe, mostly because they don't seem have distribution in the UK.

Location: Carle Place, NY | I'm with Cliff on this. Tried a couple off the newstand and found them to be merely OK. My preference for guitar instruction magazines is Guitar Techniques which is a UK publication and should be easy for you to get. |

Location: PDX | I subscribe to John Knowles' Fingerstyle Quarterly and find it to be very helpful in building a repertoire.
You can check out a sample and check the back issues for the type of music. It ranges from classical to jazz.
