I'm out of the loop, I guess. I didn't know Guild would be built in New Hartford.

I don't own a Fender, but now 3 of my guitars builders are (Ovation, Guild and Jackson) and two of them used to be made by a Leo Fender company (Musicman) bought by Ernie Ball.

Hmmmm....will the New Hartford people handle Guild warantee issues? I believe mine has a lifetime warantee and the pup switch isn't working anymore...... Not much of a drive for me..... :D

No Jack... You're three for three...

I guess I was wrong about the production moving off shore. I was surprised myself, but I saw it stated at least three separate places.

Shoulda checked here, first.

Anyway, I don't really care why three independent vendors had SLASHED the price on the 2771LX. I got it, it's great, it's full bodied, and I paid 250.00 LESS than the midsize 1771LX that ended up with a warped top, rendering it unplayable above the 10th fret.

Thanks all for posting, and also thanks for listening and indulging.

I am Grateful for the sale! :D

I am almost ashamed to admit this,
But I paid less for both of my contour T's than I paid for the other two, Used!

Factory trip to Snatchville. Sounds like a plan.
