Do they or Did they make Acoustic NonCutaway Celebs? Notice it also has a truss rod cover.

Yes, CC01 and CC11 are acoustic non-cutaways, and Celebrity does do Purple.
I don't know if Old Celebrity's had TRC's...

But I will agree that it is nauseating!
Probably worse in person...

Ok,
Ovation did make purple guitars. I know where there is one right now. It is owned by a lady that I was in a band with. It is a shallow bowl E/A. She actually got very good comments on it and her playing ability! Guess it's all in where your taste lies. The guy in my current band plays a purple Gretsch Brian Setzer Model, and people comment positively on it all the time.
