Location: SoCal | This Ovation Acoustic-Electric Guitar is in excellent condition and perfect playing order. There are no signs of use at all, it includes the Ovation Warranty Card awaiting your registration for your life-time warranty... Item condition says, Used, and the description indicates a pre-owned guitar. The life-time warranty is, "...valid only to the original purchaser with a warranty card on file or a copy of the original sales receipt as proof of purchase."
How is your buyer going to get that life-time warranty? |

I bought a BC Rich Kenny King V2. Nice Guitar, Nothing wrong with it...
I returned it, just cuz I didn't like it. Just personal preference.
Yeah, I had to pay to ship it back...
And I lost 15% on a sellers' remorse return to Beat Street cuz they have to sell it as USED.
(fair is fair)
But in the end, I would have lost that much in FVF's and in time and aggravation and all that.
Anyway, good luck with the sale. |

A return will cost me 150.00 . . . at least . . . plus I have to ship it anyway. It's a great guitar, just doesn't fit my hand. I've gotten too used to 1 3/4 neck on my Taylor.
The Ovation website warranty info says, "with original receipt, OR warranty card" . . .

Give Ovation a call about your warranty misinterpretation.
There are still buyers of second-hand guitars falling for "comes with blank warranty card"... only to find out later that they technically have no warranty and are at the mercy of the manufacturer. |
