I'm thinning my herd to make room for a new one.

I have posted this one before and a few members had discussions about the authenticity of the 1537 model number. Let me say this about that. This guitar is not being sold as a vintage mint 1537. It had been sent to the Ovation factory for specific customization by the Ovation custom specialist. This is not a guitar that wants to be hung in your display case. This is a guitar that I have played for shows in The US, Canada, Mexico, England, Scotland, Wales, and Italy. If you are a pro or simi pro you will be able to realize the beauty and sound of this fantastic guitar.

Again let me repeat. This is a custom guitar. The people at Ovation put the sticker inside so it IS A MODEL 1537 If you are looking for a 1537 in original shape I suggest you keep looking. If you want a fantastic Ovation guitar with old wood in near mint condition. Let's talk.

Ovation Elite
Factory Modified Model 1537 (Now a customized guitar)
I bought this guitar new in the mid 1980’s > I paid something like $1600 for it then

About a year or so ago I sent the guitar back to the factory and made some custom changes to the instrument;

2) Provide a cutout for easy high fret access
3) Refinish the top.
4) Chang out the electronics to the newest and best OVATION Provides.

Sounds very nice. Pictures posted here would add to the drool factor by at least 10x!

Unfortunately you have to sign-up to see them, maybe.
I recommend that you use a more 'open' hosting site like Photobucket.
Or just Post them here.

Personally, I get enough unwanted email without signing-up for another site.
(A "Free Trial" of snapfish came with my computer... I promptly uninstalled it)

Arthur I agree with you. I cannot find a way to post them here, I went to the FAQ and to get an answer and it said the process had changed. I keep trying to use snapfish. looks like no luck. I will try photobucket next. stay tuned.

Thanks for posting the pics. That's a beautiful guitar! That should generate some interest. Good luck with the sale.
