It doesn't look to be a lighting issue because it appears in every photo in the listing, and it remains relatively uniform over the entire top.

BTW, back when I was jonesing for a 1776, there were none to be found. Fortunately, Miles had a weak moment and I pounced. Now the Pats are 'all over'. I've yet to play one that disappointed! Sure hope that Steve (FlySig) had a weak moment and got this 'un! He had a tough time in letting Karen's go at the Black Hills Jam. Steve... ? Sorry time to be sellin'... :(

The cars are coming up on some pricey scheduled maintenance, too. In my weak moments I think that debt is OK since we are likely to see some serious inflation in the next year or two. But then I start thinking about the ramifications of that inflation and want to be debt free instead. Being the responsible adult sucks sometimes.

If someone is still interested in a Patriot, the Guitar Center in Southfield Michigan has a really nice electric and they just lowered the price to $610.00. it plays good. From time to time, they have a 15 % off coupon so you could get into it for for less than $550 (pretty good shape). I'll miss mine but I have never had an Adamas and a 2080 is in my near future.
