I want it! But I cannot afford it! :(

The seller sez, "It's hard to believe this guitar is 20 years old."
I find it hard to believe that 1990 was Twenty Years Ago! :p Seems like yesterday.

Anybody?

That thing is beautiful! I wonder if he would consider a trade for someone's 2005 Collector's who has been asking for quite a while?

Unless there's something we're not seeing, I think that guitar is worth his BIN any day of the week. Frankly, I can't believe it's still there.

I came across one of these in natural at a Guitar Center the other day. It had a tag on it that said $895. At first glance from across the room, I thought it was a 1537 as it looked almost identical to mine. But, after picking it up and playing it for about ten minutes, it was no match in sound quality. It was in good shape and was almost as playable as my 1537, but it lacked that awesome tone. Nice guitar nonetheless.

Did this one have good strings on it? That would make a huge difference in sound quality, and I know GC seldom changes strings on anything.

Yeah, the strings were decent. I don't think they were brand new but they were still bright in color and clean. It sounded good, but lacked the warmth of my 1537 but was still a nice guitar.

It was the one on Westheimer.
