That should be a steal for someone looking for a vintage Balladeer.

I would get it just to see, but GC won't ship to me because my mail goes to a P.O. Box. They only accept credit cards for the used guitars and only ship to "address of record" for the credit card. I've tried money orders, bank drafts, etc. but they have one policy and they won't vary it for any reason.

It's hit or miss with GC. I've returned at least half of the guitars I've bought online. The last couple of times they've hassled me about returning the cost of shipping. These were returns due to defects that were undisclosed. One even had a broken neck(at headstock) that had obviously been glued poorly, then busted again during shipping.

A few months back I bought a Peavey (Falcon Active) and when it showed up, I saw that someone had modified it by scalloping the fretboard. Maybe I'm just fickle, but I would think that should be disclosed before selling and shipping it off. It's totally obvious, but I guess they just wanted to make the sale.

I had every intention of returning that one when I pulled it out of the case, but after playing it I decided to keep it. I kinda liked the scalloped FB. It's grrrrreat for shreadin' fun!

I've also had 3 guitars busted when they showed due to poor packaging.

Just be sure to ask LOTS of DETAILED questions.
