I have a friend looking for a good quality used left-handed acoutic electric. He's looking to keep his total cost below $500. He's not particular about which brand he gets but wants something worth keeping and with a solid top. I haven't seen a lot of LH Ovations lately. How much do the good used Taks go for? Or for that matter, any brand named LH guits?

Here's a nice NEW Takamine EG340 lefty. These are well built and have really good electronics. $350 but I don't think it includes a case.

You might want to check with Al and see what he can do on a Lefty.

Geeese Louise ... I never realized how difficult it was for lefties to find used guitars until now.

Celebrity SLCC147 with case If you are still looking.
With the case it is almost worth the BIN, or you could bid and hope for the best.
Seller sez that it is a solid top, but I cannot verify that!
But here is a review...

Looks nice for a Celeb. I passed it on to him, Thanks. We were very close to getting him a red burst USA deep bowl Elite, But the seller apparently changed his mind.

Here is a Lefty S771
Apparently from the same seller as the SLCC147! Go figger

I think that I would go for the S771, personally... But I ain't a Lefty.

This one is $800, mid 90's and excellent+++ condition at Cotten Music. Kim is great to work with and will be able to answer any questions about the guitar.

There are quite a few of us on the OFC who deal with her on some of the Collings, Borges, Bourgeois, etc.

OVATION L-718 ELITE

It's listed down towards the bottom of the inventory page under "Previously Enjoyed Instruments". There are additional pics.

If you talk to her, tell her Stephen in Colorado say hi!

That's a nice one! He has extended his price range to around $600, but stretching to 800 might be a bit much for him. Maybe I'll call them to see if they have a little latitude on it or not.

He's still a beginner, so I don't think he could handle a 12 yet. He also wants the Elite style hole pattern.
